Cieľom môjho výtvarného snaženia je "opatrne", t.j. cez dôkladné poznanie etnografického materiálu premiestniť to, na čo zväčša dopadá okrem pohľadu zámerne hľadajúcich očí prach, prítmie a tma múzeí, galérií a neotvorených etnografických odborných kníh do nášho teraz, v ktorom mi veľmi chýba to nepochopiteľné ľudovo - amatérsky špecifické uchopenie a pretlmočenie života a človeka do akéhokoľvek materiálu.
A Couple of Words about Me
The aim of my artistic effort is, relying on a thorough knowledge of ethnographic material, to 'carefully' shift that which besides intentionally searching eyes mostly lays covered in the dust, gloom and darkness of museums, galleries and unopened ethnographic books into our present, where I deeply miss that specific and incomprehensible folk – amateur grasping and interpretation of life and man into any material.
Ein paar Worte über mich...
Das Ziel meines bildenden Bemühens ist „vorsichtig“, d.h. durch gründliches Erkennen vom ethnographischen Material das zu versetzen, was ausgenommen dem Anblick absichtlich Suchenden größerenteils Staub, Waldesdunkel von den Museen, den Galerien und den neu herausgegebenen Fachbüchern bedeckt, und zwar in unseres „Jetzt“, in dem mir besonders die unbegreifliche, volks-amateur-spezifische Ergreifung und Verdolmetschung des Lebens und des Menschen in jegliches Material fehlt.
